About Core Defender

CoreDefender is a 2D tower defense game made in Unity. The goal is simple: protect your energy core from incoming waves by placing the right defenses, upgrading them, and managing how they perform during combat.

Different towers are useful in different situations, so positioning and choosing what to upgrade matters as the waves get harder.

Features

• Multiple tower types – Use Base Turrets, Laser Snipers, Cryo Emitters, Mass Drivers, and Ion Beacons, each with its own role and upgrade path.
• Heat system – Towers build up heat while firing and can overheat if they're pushed too hard, so you need to manage them during longer fights.
• Increasing difficulty – Enemy waves become stronger over time and include different enemy types, including ground units and flying laser drones.
• Tower upgrades – Improve your defenses throughout the game to increase their damage, durability, and overall effectiveness.

How to Play

1. Download CoreDefender.zip.
2. Extract the files somewhere on your computer.
3. Run CoreDefender.exe.
4. Protect the core and survive as many waves as you can.
